建设村是霞寨镇下辖的行政村，村名取自新中国成立初期建设新社会的寓意。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

新中国刚成立时，人们取建设新社会的意思，村名因此定为建设。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属大坪约。1945年它分属霞寨乡的松溪保和聚德保；1950年设第二区建设乡；1958年改称霞寨公社的建设大队；1984年设建设村委会。[1][3]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，建设村入选「2020年度福建省‘一村一品’示范村」名单，主导产业为蜜柚种植。2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅把建设村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
