寨北村是霞寨镇西南部的行政村，1961年由内坑大队的一部分析出而设。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

寨北这个名字来自1961年的一次分村：窠仔墘、北坑、岭脚等9个自然村被分出，另组成一个大队，大队取名寨北，此后也就成了村名。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年时此地隶属霞寨乡的洋坑保；1958年并入下寨公社，编在内坑大队之下；1984年才设立村委会。[3]

文化[edit]

村子曾获2004年至2007年度的文明村称号。[3]
