岩岭村是霞寨镇下辖的行政村，村子坐落在山岭之间，村名因境内岩石较多而得。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村落处在山岭之间，岩石较多，所以叫岩岭。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

岩岭这一带在清代为岩岭乡，归大坪约管辖。1945年时它隶属霞寨乡的岩岭保；1950年划入第二区的民主乡；1958年成为下寨公社的岩岭大队；1984年起称岩岭村委会，地名一直沿用至今。[1][3]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，岩岭村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
