群英村位于霞寨镇中部，是镇政府的驻地所在村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1950年建乡时取名群英乡，寓意群众才是真正的英雄。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此处隶属霞寨约。1945年属霞寨乡下的殷墩、溪平两保；1950年设第二区群英乡；1958年并入下寨公社，改称群英大队；1984年改为群英村委会。[1][3]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，群英村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2020年1月，它被认定为「漳州市2020年度市级‘一村一品’示范村」，产业以蜜柚种植为主。此外，村子列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
