历史沿革[edit]
农业合作化时期此地归双马乡管辖。1958年公社化后，原地分成三个大队，此处是第三个，故以“马三”为名。[1]
1984年改为马三村委会，此前1958年称马三大队，隶属安厚公社；1950年属第五区双马乡，1945年则为平南乡大峰保。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村面积2.82平方千米，其中水田710亩，山地2800亩。村西与大溪镇石寨相连。[1]
