东寨村位于安厚镇中北部，距东川水库区约1.5公里，距镇政府也约1.5公里，辖15个自然村、16个村民小组。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄处在镇的东面。建居之初，村中有一座古时遗留的寨子，之后村民在四周陆续建房，村因寨而得名东寨。[1]

1958年归安厚公社，称东寨大队；1984年改为东寨村委会。1950年属第五区东寨乡，1945年属平南乡东寨保。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村面积3.86平方千米，其中水田1120亩，山地2800亩。村北连山口村，西面对着大岽尖山麓。[1]
