文美村是文峰镇东部的行政村，省道官九线穿越全村，离县城有16公里路程。村内设有平和文美机械电子产业园区。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自文洋、洋美两个自然村各一字。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村落占地2.6平方公里，离镇区约1.5公里；博雅地名网所载户数为590户，人口2260人，下设13个自然村与12个村民小组（无年份）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年1月，该村获漳州市“一村一品”示范村的认定，主打苦瓜；2021年11月，该村获评2021年福建省卫生村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国晚期的1945年归文峰乡文美保；1950年划入第一区文美乡；1958年并入山格公社，改称文美大队；次年回属文峰公社；1984年复归文峰乡，设文美村委会。[1]
