历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：园尾、洲尾、口厝（凤美）三个自然村合为一村，取“三美”之名[1]。1945年起此地是平东乡厝美保，1950年改属第一区塔美乡。1958年村子并入山格公社，称三美大队，1984年才改设村委会[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村庄中央有花山溪流过，东面为耕地，南接平寨村，北邻宝丰村；东南有沈海复线高速公路经过[1]。
人口民族[edit]
2011年底的人口为2438人；村民通行闽南语[1][2]。
经济[edit]
果蔬种植是村民收入的主要来源；下辖的三个自然村为园美、凤美与州美[1]。
