前进村位于福建省漳州市平和县山格镇南部，北面与土田村相接，南面与小溪镇比邻，西面连着双田村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名的寓意是农业向前发展，故称前进[1]。1945年起此地属平东乡；1950年划为第一区高磜乡；1958年并入山格公社，成为前进大队，1984年改为前进村委会[1]。近年荣誉包括：2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[1]。
