坑里村隶属于平和县小溪镇，位于县城东部，距县城约1.5公里，花山溪环村而过[1][2]。

名称由来[edit]

村地处花山溪下游低洼溪边，常因水灾积水，形似水坑，故名坑里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

元代称霞宛，明代称下坂，清代称坑里。民国时属东溪乡卿里保；1950年定名坑里村，归第一区东溪乡。1957年划入山格区东溪乡，1958年设坑里大队，属山格公社，1962年改归城关公社。1984年属城关乡时改称坑里村委会，1987年并入小溪镇[1]。
