南寨村隶属于平和县小溪镇，位于县城东边天马山麓，距县城约8公里[1][2]。

名称由来[edit]

村庄位于南面，古时曾有山寨，后来村民在此建居，村名因此定为南寨[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1945年村属琯溪镇。1950年划为第一区东溪乡辖地，1957年改属山格区东溪乡，1958年设东寨大队，隶山格公社；1962年改归城关公社。1984年属城关乡时改称南寨村委会，1987年并入小溪镇[1]。
