宝善村隶属于平和县小溪镇，位于县城北环路与正兴大道交汇处一带[1][2]。

名称由来[edit]

明代时村内设有善人亭，村名的“宝”字取自“褒”的读音[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1945年隶属平东乡。1950年划入第一区玉溪乡，1957年改属山格区玉溪乡，1958年设宝善大队，归山格公社；1962年改归城关公社。1984年设宝善村委会，1987年并入小溪镇[1]。

荣誉[edit]

村庄于2020年12月进入福建省“一村一品”示范村名单，主导产品为蜜柚[1]。2024年6月，村庄上榜福建省第四批「高级版绿盈乡村」名单[1]。宝善村于2021年11月被评为「2021年福建省卫生村」，评定单位为省爱卫办[1]。
