玉溪村隶属于平和县小溪镇，位于县城中心，是一个城中村[1][2]。

名称由来[edit]

玉溪原为琯溪张氏的聚居地，民国时在琯溪镇郊区设玉溪保、锦溪保，取“锦玉之乡”之意[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1945年村属琯溪镇。新中国成立后，1950年设第一区玉溪乡；1957年改隶山格区玉溪乡；1958年划归山格公社，成为玉溪大队；1962年改归城关公社。1984年改为玉溪村委会，属城关乡，1987年并入小溪镇[1]。

荣誉[edit]

玉溪村于2021年11月被评为「2021年福建省卫生村」，评定单位为省爱卫办[1]。
