建设社区隶属于平和县小溪镇，属镇中心区[1][2]。社区地处建设街，故以街名为名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1936年隶属琯溪镇，1950年起改属阳明镇，1956年复名小溪镇。1962年并入城管公社的居民大队。1980年镇政府重设后，居民大队撤销，生产街与建设街合成一个居委会，名为生产街居委会；1981年更名为建设居委会[1]。2003年6月重新整合，设立小溪镇建设社区居民委员会[1]。
