小溪镇是福建省漳州市平和县下辖的镇，也是平和县人民政府的驻地，位于县境中部偏北，坐落于花山溪畔，花山溪是九龙江西溪的上游，镇区与漳州市区相距61公里[1][3][4]。全镇面积137.199平方千米，下辖8个社区和23个行政村[1][2]。境内花山溪与牛头溪在城区东南的溪口汇合，两溪汇合后经山格、南靖一带，最终注入九龙江[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

镇中心原称琯溪龟头城，张氏宗族曾聚居于此，小溪一名又作琯溪，旧时也称阳明[5][6]。清康熙年间，今镇域被分设为若干社，其中有琯溪、侯山、产坑等[6]。

设镇的年代说法不一：维基百科称1962年置小溪镇[5]。博雅地名网则说，1962年时小溪与城关曾分设为两个公社，至1984年才又合为一镇[6]。百度百科载，1987年城关乡并入小溪镇[4]。

地理环境[edit]

镇名据博雅地名网所载，得自镇区所在的花山溪[3]。镇域气候为亚热带季风型，年均气温约23.5摄氏度，无霜期约350天，年降雨量在1500至1700毫米之间[1][3]。

省道郊柏线与牛旧线贯穿全境，并在城区相交[3]。

人口[edit]

平和县行政区划表（2024年2月发布）列小溪镇人口10.39万人，未注明统计时点[2]。百度百科载，截至2019年末，小溪镇户籍人口为99591人[4]。两项数字的统计口径未必相同。

经济[edit]

琯溪蜜柚是镇内的主要果品，博雅地名网称，四百多年前它就曾作为宫廷贡品[3]。2021年11月，农业农村部在推介名单中列入小溪镇，称号为「2021年全国乡村特色产业十亿元镇」[4]。

文化[edit]

据维基百科，小溪镇被福建省文化厅命名为「中国民间文化艺术（龙艺）之乡」[5]。

名胜古迹[edit]

侯山宫位于西林村，为福建省省级文物保护单位，2009年公布，建筑保持清代风貌[7]。
