新罗村在南坑镇，是中国传统村落之一，村名与驻地的新罗自然村相同。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
「新」指新建，「罗」指罗网，村名因驻地的新罗自然村而来。[1]
旧时此地归南靖县高港乡的高港保。新中国成立后划为第七区船南乡的高港村，1954年并入新强初级社。1958年公社化后改称新强耕作区，1961年体制下放，此地成为新强大队；1980年又恢复「新罗大队」之名，1984年起设新罗村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
南坑镇率先在新罗与南塘两村试行集体林权改革。[2]
文化[edit]
2019年6月，新罗村列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。2021年11月，村庄被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2021年12月，获命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。2025年11月，被确定为「2025年漳州市乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[1]
