地理与人口[edit]
村子东与龙山镇竹溪村接壤，西与鼎寮村交界，北邻梧宅村与金山镇下永村，南至八仙围棋山。村中县道龙船线贯穿，全长4.5公里；距319国道约15公里。[2]
据博雅地名网所载，全村总面积近8000亩，有880余人、218户，辖3个自然村、8个村民小组。[2]
地名由来[edit]
村子旧称笔仔窝、笔仔科。「笔峰」指笔尖上的山峰，村背后尖山五峰并列，远望如五支笔，故名。[1]
沿革[edit]
早先隶属船南乡的邦科保。解放后划归第七区，属鼎寮乡管辖。1958年公社化后独立设为笔峰大队，1984年改为笔峰村委会。[1]
物产与资源[edit]
村中盛产毛竹与麻竹。20世纪60年代开始种植茶叶，出产柑桔、蜜柚与粉蕉。石狮山有彩玉石矿。[2]
