地理与人口[edit]
村子东与金山镇的下永村接壤，西与书洋镇交界，距龙山镇15公里，距田螺坑土楼群20公里，南通槽祠村，北约5公里处有南二水电站。据博雅地名网所载，村落面积4.5平方公里，现有2135余人、535户，分为13个村民小组。[2]
地名与沿革[edit]
「梧」指梧桐树，「宅」指房屋，村民在大片梧桐林中建居，形成村落，故名梧宅。[1]
唐初已有人在此定居。历史上此地称梧宅乡，后分拆为梧宅、星光、鼎寮、笔峰四个村落。[2]
解放前此地是船南乡的梧宅保。解放后划归第七区的梧宅乡，合作化时组成新中高级社，称梧宅耕作区。1958年公社化后为梧宅大队，1984年改称村民委员会。[1]

建筑与名胜[edit]
村中有各姓的祠堂，较为知名的有陈氏的茂林堂、赖氏的垂德堂，此外还有林氏思孝堂、石氏彰美堂和吴氏锦德堂。[2]
石门岩风景区位于村后山东麓，主峰海拔960米，1983年列为县级文物保护单位。[4]
村中有一座明初修建的安济桥，是石拱桥，至今保存完好。[2]
产业[edit]
村中木材与竹子资源丰富，种植以蜜柚、柑橘、麻竹为主，养殖以蘑菇、木耳为主。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年6月，梧宅村入选福建省第四批省级传统村落名单。[1]
