田中村是书洋镇下辖的行政村，村名由乡政府驻地的自然村「田中央」省去「央」字而来。村内的龙潭楼是福建省文物保护单位，土楼博物馆设在吕厝。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地为后田保，解放初称后田村。1951年土改后，它与赤州合为一乡，乡政府驻在田中央，故乡名为田中央乡。[1]

1958年公社化后设田中大队；1961年与赤州分处，单独成为田中大队；1984年定名田中村委会。[1]

明初，吕姓开基祖由永定迁居施洋，其后人聚居于今吕厝一带，即田中村吕厝。[3]

田中村被列入福建省1000个乡村振兴试点村。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙潭楼位于吕厝，又称书洋吕氏祖厝，清康熙二年（1663年）始建，为方形客家土楼，高4层，每层16开间，四角各设一座瞭望台。2009年被公布为「第七批福建省文物保护单位」。[4]

土楼博物馆的馆址即龙潭楼，馆内陈列有土楼的创业史话与建筑技艺。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年1月，田中村被认定为漳州市2020年度市级「一村一品」示范村（茶叶）。2021年11月，田中村被评为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年9月，获福建省农业农村厅推介为「2022年福建省美丽休闲乡村」。[1]
