历史沿革[edit]
宋末，施姓在此定居，地名称施洋。明天顺八年，肖姓由漳州迁入；「施」字与「书」字方言音近，遂改称书洋。[1]
解放前，本村归书教乡书田保管辖；土地改革后并入书洋乡。1956年组成燎原初级社与高级社，1958年设为书洋公社书洋大队，1984年定名书洋村委会。[1]
2021年11月，书洋村被评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
山下萧氏宗祠在山下自然村，是漳州、台湾以及海外书山派萧氏族人共同的祖祠。它由两座毗邻的祠堂合成：书山祠，明隆庆六年（1572年）起建；乾源祠，清中叶始建。2018年9月，该祠被列入「第九批福建省文物保护单位」。[2]
