官洋村属南靖县梅林镇，村域落在云水谣景区的界线之内，该景区属国家5A级风景名胜区。[1]

地名与村民[edit]

村名来自早先开基之处，那里原是一片菅草地。[1]

据村中所载，长教简氏第四代后人维厚公于公元1468年定居于此，此后子孙繁衍，村民至今多为简姓。[2]

文物与风貌[edit]

溪边有八棵古榕树，部分树龄超过400年，直径3米多。[2]

村中的东山祠奉祀官洋始祖，1992年列为县级文物保护单位。[2]
