奎洋镇位于福建省漳州市南靖县的西北部，沿船场溪上游展开，地处漳州与龙岩两市的交界地带[1][2]。全镇面积161.07平方千米，2024年12月31日的人口为1.12万人[2]。镇内山林广阔，竹产业与“香遇奎洋”农产品品牌是当地的两大特色[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
元明清三代，这片地方先后归属居仁里龟洋总与梧宅总[3]。民国年间划归奎洋区，民国三十二年（1943年）又成为奎洋乡的辖地[3]。新中国成立之初，奎洋隶属第五区；1955年与和溪合为第八区[3]。此后设卫星公社（1958年），1959年定名奎洋人民公社，1984年7月改回乡制，直到1992年才改为镇[3]。
地理环境[edit]
境内森林覆盖率达80.18%，竹林合计约4万亩，其中以毛竹为主，占2.6万亩，另有麻竹1.1万亩、杂竹0.3万亩[1]。南一水库在全市居第二位，主要承担防洪与发电，库容为1.58亿立方米，流域控制面积有522平方公里[1][4]。
人口[edit]
2019年末户籍人口为12873人[5]。
经济[edit]
镇政府把竹产业当作“一镇一业”来抓，力图建成“竹业小镇”，同时借“香遇奎洋”公共品牌推动高优农业[1]。东楼青柠檬、后坪金线莲、罗坑生态茶、松峰百香果和光祠香米等农产品都已形成品牌[1]。
文化[edit]
镇上革命老区村有5个，仙岭苏维埃政府旧址为南靖县“四岭”之一[1]。民俗有南靖竹马戏、四平锣鼓乐、福建客家山歌和南靖客家土楼营造技艺[3]。
全镇中国传统村落共两处，省级历史文化名村与省级传统村落分别为一处和四处[1]。2024年1月，奎洋镇获评「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」；2012年12月，奎洋镇经环境保护部认定，列为「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」[3]。
名胜古迹[edit]
镇域有省级文物保护单位1处，即上洋村的聚精堂；市级文物保护单位2处，县级8处[1][7]。

著名人物[edit]
庄西言生于1885年、卒于1965年，又名西园，祖籍霞峰村，是民国时期的爱国商人，曾担任国民政府中央侨务委员会委员[8][9]。博雅地名网另记庄亨阳（1686–1746）、王命爵（1525–1603）、简大狮（卒于1900年）、张丙（卒于1833年）与本镇有关[3]。
