村子的沿革在清代经过归属变化，民国后期称云石保，1958年起设为大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名原作「道美社」，为便于称说和书写，改作「斗米」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地隶属居仁里的金山总，此后归并到和溪总。[1]
民国后期叫作云石保。公社化时设斗米大队，1984年起改为村委会。[1]
