月星村是福建省漳州市南靖县和溪镇下辖的行政村，村名取自地形：村旁小河弯如月牙，村庄零散分布如繁星。[1]

村子的先民为明末从漳平永福迁来的陈氏。村内以毛杜鹃为「一村一品」产品，2023年先后被认定为市级和省级「一村一品」专业村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，「月」指流经村旁的小河弯曲如月牙，「星」指村庄散布如繁星，合起来即为村名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝末期，陈氏祖先由漳平永福迁来，先后在两处地方建村。[2]

清代村子属居仁里和溪总，民国时属和溪乡月水保。1950年归和溪区龙凤乡管辖；1955年，其中下堀盂一带另设「月星高级社」。1961年，这里单独设为月星大队，1984年改称月星村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年9月，月星村入选「2023年度漳州市级一村一品专业村」（产品毛杜鹃）；同年12月，又列入「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」名单。[1]
