下麻村是南靖县金山镇下辖的行政村，位于县境西部的山区，海拔420米，距县城53公里，离国道319线8公里。博雅地名网称它是金山镇最小的行政村，全村有4个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此处荒畲地多种麻，故名下麻。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
元朝末期，祖先自龙岩大池迁来，起初在下麻畲定居，因地势高低不一，此地便称下麻。[2]
解放后设乡，公社化时单独设大队，1984年改称下麻村委会。[2]

全村人口335人，105户，共有4个自然村和4个村民小组。[1]

村中留有一座1736年建造的祖师庙。[1]
