地名由来[edit]
因村子建在东山附近，故名东建。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前村落属黄碇保，因背靠东山，解放后设东山乡。合作化时曾分为三个初级社，公社化时合并为东建大队，1984年改称东建村民委员会。[2]
地理与交通[edit]
国道319线贯穿村境，长五公里多，漳龙高速公路在村内设有金山互通区的出入口。[1]
村子位于鹅仙洞山麓南部，鹅仙洞自然风景区的南亚热带雨林景观延伸至村域一带。[3]
产业[edit]
村民以种植麻笋、香蕉和蘑菇为主，设有全镇主要的香蕉收购点。村内的罐头加工厂以麻笋和蘑菇制作罐头，产品销往多个国家。汽车运输也是村民的主要收入来源之一。[1]
