金峰社区是南靖县金山镇下辖的社区，位于镇政府驻地一带，属镇中心区。社区因辖区内一座山峰得名，境内有九龙江支流流过，国道319线东西向穿过镇区，连接龙山与金山两地。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

社区以辖区内的一座山峰得名，博雅地名网写作金鹅鬃仙峰。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区一带原为金山保所在地，解放后设村，公社化时曾并入大队，1980年恢复金山大队的旧名，1984年则改设金山村委会。[2]

南靖县建制沿革记载，1995年金山镇设立金星居民委员会。[3] 博雅地名网则说，金峰居委会是1996年自金山村析出设立的。[2] 两处记载的年份与名称不同，两说并存。

地理与民俗[edit]

社区位于金山镇政府右侧，在九月半埔的山麓下，一带为平坦宽阔的平地。[1]

九月半埔是当地的传统节日，旧时每年农历九月十一至十七，金山村的千家宫内四台戏同时演出，连演七个晚上。[1]
