靖城村是南靖县靖城镇下辖的行政村，是靖城镇未划入高新区托管的六个行政村之一。村名的“靖”指南靖，“城”指城镇，因此地曾是南靖县府驻地。2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1][2][3]
名称与沿革[edit]
清代，此地隶属习贤里的城厢社；民国年间，此地以靖城镇之名称呼。[1]
解放后设乡。1956年此地成立金星高级社，1958年改组为公社，称靖城管理区；1961年体制下放，设大队；1984年成为靖城村委会。[1]
