山苑村位于南靖县山城镇境内，座落在一座小山丘上，北倚云坪山（又称黄山、狮头山），面朝荆江，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子与下戴的山岭仔一度合称岭仔乡。1958年归入丰田农场，1959年回到山城；1961年与下戴分设大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]
