公园社区位于铜陵镇中心区。社区内的抗战献机纪念碑处，原为古代守备衙署，1939年遭日机炸毁，1942年辟为中正公园，社区由此得名“公园”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区前身是1987年7月从顶街街道居委会划出南门庙以东地段后设立的公园街道居委会，2002年10月才改称公园社区居民委员会。[1]
