东山岛东北端的铜陵镇，东、南、北三面临海，西与康美镇相连。东山建县（1916年）时，县治设在铜山城，该城即在今镇域之内。1985年，城关镇改名为铜陵镇。[1][2]
镇区面积5.24平方千米（不含周边岛屿和海域），气候属亚热带海洋性。镇内的铜山关帝庙和戍台官兵墓均属国家级文物，风动石景区与铜山古城也在这里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明洪武二十年（1387年），江夏侯周德兴主持修建铜山古城，用以抵御倭寇。镇名“铜陵”取自明代所称的“铜山”与后来所称的“陵岛”，各取一字而成。[7][4]
1916年东山县设立，治所为铜山城，即今镇域。1956年3月县人民委员会迁驻西埔。1975年，城关公社一分为二，分出铜山公社；1980年铜山公社又并回城关镇，1985年城关镇改称铜陵镇。[2]
2014年7月，铜陵镇列入「全国重点镇」名单；2016年5月，经福建省人民政府认定，成为「第五批福建省历史文化名镇名村」之一。2020年7月，铜陵镇被确认保留「国家卫生乡镇（县城）」称号，同年11月获得「第六届全国文明村镇」称号。[4]
2021年9月30日，福建省人民政府作出批复，认可了铜陵镇的历史文化名镇保护规划（2019至2035年），该规划由此成为镇内历史文化保护的依据。[3]
地理环境[edit]
铜陵镇位于东山岛东北端，近海有东门屿、铁钉屿、对面屿等周边岛屿。镇域的气候属亚热带海洋性，四季温和。[1]
经济[edit]
铜陵镇地处闽、粤、台渔场的中心，渔业资源丰富，是东山县的主要渔区。水产品加工和渔需制品生产是镇内的两大支柱产业，镇内有国家级大澳中心渔港，并设有水产品综合批发市场。[1]
镇区渔钩、渔钓等渔需产品的生产历史悠久，产品销往日本、东南亚和台湾等地。[1]
文化[edit]
东山歌册被列为「国家第一批非物质文化遗产」之一。镇内传统民间艺术还有南音与昆腔，以及古八音、四平锣鼓。[1]
明末学者黄道周（1585—1646年）的故居在古城内，其读书处在东门屿上。南溟书院（文公祠）祭祀朱熹和黄道周。[1][4]
名胜古迹[edit]
铜山关帝庙坐落于风动石景区之中，是全国重点文物保护单位。该庙创建于明洪武二十年（1387年），清康熙二十年（1681年）又经重建，1996年12月经国务院批准列入此名单。[5][4]
风动石景区为「国家4A级」风景区，景区内的风动石高约4.37米，重约200吨。[1][6]
铜山古城的城墙用花岗岩砌成，城墙上开有四座城门。城内外还留有风动石、关帝庙与黄道周故居等处遗迹。[7]
古城西面的九仙山景区内，有蔡潮、僧道宗等人的摩崖题刻；镇内还留存不少与郑成功、施琅、天地会及抗战有关的历史证物。[1]
东门屿位于铜山古城东部海域，被称为中国四大名屿之一。岛上的文峰塔建于明嘉靖五年（1526年），为福建巡海道蔡潮所建。[8][1]
宝智寺位于风动石景区内，紧邻铜山关帝庙。该寺始建于明代，至清乾隆年间（1771年）扩建并定为现名。[9]
国家级文物还有戍台官兵墓；水寨大山与东山抗战烈士陵园为省级文物保护单位。郑成功水操台与虎崆滴玉为镇内的旅游景观。[1]
