下西坑村位于前楼镇西南尽端，西侧临海，坐山朝海。[1][3]

地名[edit]

村西有一条大山坑，村庄以方位取名“西坑”。因与西埔镇的西坑村重名，改称下西坑。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村庄距县城西埔中心约9公里，村辖的四个自然村为西沃、下西坑、长山尾和新厝。据博雅地名网所载，全村333户、1576人，年份未注。[1] 耕地仅300亩，宜林山地为1680亩，另有盐田1280公亩和约1000亩可用的浅海滩涂。[1]

渔业与养殖[edit]

海上捕捞与海水养殖是村中的主要行业：优质鱼、蟹与巴非蛤的养殖面积共4000亩，芦笋、芭乐和青枣的种植面积为250亩。[1] 村中有远海渔船45艘，另有钢制渔船18艘、近海渔船30艘。[1] 据百度百科，该村曾是漳州市第一个生态养殖村，2020年以后借海域整治发展渔旅结合。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属诏安县五都一图前吾保，民国时归东山县西南乡的叶东保。[1] 1950年隶属第三区西尾乡；1958年归西埔公社叶坑大队，1961年转属前楼公社下西坑大队，1984年改作前楼乡下西坑村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2020年12月，下西坑村被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
  • 2022年10月，下西坑村获「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」称号。[1]
  • 2023年9月，下西坑村被认定为「漳州市2023年度市级一村一品专业村」，产业为龙须菜。[1]
  • 2023年10月，下西坑村入选「2023年福建省金牌旅游村」名单。[1]
  • 2025年3月，下西坑村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
  • 2025年11月，下西坑村被确定为「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」，产业为龙须菜。[1]
