顶上村是前楼镇东南部的行政村，位于陆地与海洋的交接地带。村东靠诏安湾海域，并借西埔湾海堤与陈城镇相通。村由顶上、下沃、下林尾三个自然村组成。[1][2]

地名[edit]

村庄原建在一个丁姓村落的上方，最初称“丁上”。丁姓村落后来废弃，“丁”与“顶”读音相近，村名遂改为顶上。[1]

人口与生产[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村210户、926人，年份未注。耕地500亩，滩涂11000亩。[1] 渔业与海上吊养殖是主要收入来源：竹筏和其他小马力船只共80艘，另有拉蚌船16艘，海上吊养殖面积1000亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属诏安县五都五图前梧保，民国时划入东山县西南乡的叶坑保。[1] 建国后归第三区顶上乡；1958年成为西埔公社顶上大队，1980年大队改为村，属前楼乡顶上村，1999年改隶前楼镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2021年11月，顶上村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
