东英村是前楼镇人民政府所在的行政村，位于镇域中心区。[1][2] 村名由东郑、东陵两个自然村的“东”字与下英的“英”字拼合而成。[1]

人口与生产[edit]

村辖岱寮、东郑、东陵、下英4个自然村。据博雅地名网所载，全村人口1996人，耕地800亩，林地3000亩，年份未注。[1] 村中以芦笋和蔬菜种植为主，青壮劳力多外出务工。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代这里属诏安县五都四图的埭南保，民国归东山县西南乡管辖，仍称埭南保。[1] 其后归前楼乡东英村；1958年为西埔人民公社下的东英大队；1980年重新划归前楼乡东英村，直到1999年改隶前楼镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2020年12月，东英村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。[1]
  • 2021年11月，福建省爱卫办把东英村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
  • 2025年11月，东英村被评为「2025年漳州市农村建设品质提升工作成效突出村」。[1]
