埕英村隶属杏陈镇，是东山县的一个行政村，也是镇里政治、经济、文化的中心。村子由埕下、西园、杏陈、英坑四个自然村合成，与高陈、前何、张家、径口等村相连。[1][2]
全村共849户，户籍人口3588人；在这些人口中，非农业人口为330人，其余3258人为农业人口。[2]

村子北侧与诏安县四都的盐仓、东钵头隔海相对，南侧与向阳盐场衔接。村庄呈条状分布，全长约2.5公里。[2]

据博雅地名网，全村有耕地1700亩、滩涂900亩、山林1050亩，虾池800亩，淡水养殖250亩。村中分为三个选区，村干部25人，党员101人。全村设11个村民小组，村民代表有56人。[1]
百度百科称，埕英村以中华乌塘鳢养殖为主导产业，并成立了全国首个中华乌塘鳢养殖协会。[3]
