康美镇是福建省漳州市东山县下辖的镇，位于县境东北部，东邻铜陵镇，西与樟塘镇相接。全镇辖8个行政村和1个社区，面积20.92平方千米。[1][2]

镇域濒临大海，境内有金銮湾与马銮湾两处月牙形海湾。明末甘肃巡抚林日瑞生于镇内的康美村，镇名也与他有关。[1][3][5]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名取自驻地所在的康美村。宋代时，林氏族人在一处伸入内海的水坑尾凸出地带建村，称作坑尾。明崇祯年间，任甘肃巡抚的林日瑞为雅化故乡的称呼，改称康美。康美的方言读音与坑尾相同，字面上又有「康山美水」之意。[3]

清代，此地隶属诏安县五都三图；民国时归东山县统一实验乡管辖，新中国成立后初属第一区。1950年设康美人民公社，1984年改设康美乡，1992年5月撤乡设镇。[3]

2012年12月，康美镇获环境保护部授予「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[2] 镇曾先后获评「省级文明乡镇」和「省级卫生乡镇」；马銮村被评为「全国文明村」，康美村、西崎村、马銮村被命名为「省级卫生村」，城垵村获得「第二批农村社区建设省级示范单位」的称号。[1]

人口民族[edit]

镇内居民大多为中原移民的后裔，风俗习惯保留着中原的传统风味。镇内旅居海外的侨胞较多，是东山县的侨乡之一。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域地形以丘陵为主，属亚热带海洋性季风气候，年平均降水量约1100毫米。[3]

镇南北两侧临海，沿海港湾较多。省道上西铜公路穿过全镇，各村均通公路。[3]

经济[edit]

镇政府把工业发展放在经济工作的首位，同时着力发展旅游业和渔港经济。博雅地名网列出的土特产有芦笋、鲍鱼、鳗鱼和牡蛎。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

铜钵村的铜钵净山院又称铜钵妈祖庙，始建于明万历十七年（1589年），历代有过重修。该院自1988年起为县级文物保护对象，2013年经省里确认，列入「福建省第八批省级文物保护单位」。[4]

康美村内列为县级文物保护的有林氏家庙、林凤明将军墓、信林榕园、古城堡、林而兴墓，以及林日瑞纪念堂与墓。[6]

著名人物[edit]

林日瑞（1586—1643），明末人，原名日烺，因避东宫太子慈烺的名讳改名日瑞，字廷辑，生于康美村。他明万历年间考中进士，历任地方官，崇祯十五年升任甘肃巡抚。次年甘州城失守，他被俘，拒降后遇害。[5]
