地名与历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间，先祖自云霄县西林村迁来开基建村。原村名“鼓讲”，后为书写方便改为今名。村子依山坡而建，前面有一条可通货船的海港，故名古港。[1][4]
清代村址属诏安县五都三图的康罗保，民国时归东山县统一实验乡。建国后划为三区古马乡，1959年改隶康美公社，设古马大队；1961年成为樟塘公社的古港大队；1984年为樟塘乡古港村，1993年改称樟塘镇古港村。[1]
交通与古渡[edit]
古时这里是东山岛北部的渡口，是通往云霄的必经之路，古港渡全长约5公里。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村东有县级文物保护单位林日瑞墓。林日瑞为明代甘肃巡抚，墓碑文字由黄道周书写。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年9月，古港村入选「漳州市2024年度市级一村一品专业村（海蛎）」。[1]
