港西村是樟塘镇下辖的行政村，位于东山岛北侧，群山环绕，临海，距西埔约3.5公里。村名因在旧海港西岸而得。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

明初此地已有村落。旧时村前有一条海港，港中立着一座石观音，两旁排列十八尊石罗汉。莆田林姓族人迁来后，在港的西岸定居，遂称港西。[1]

清代村址属诏安县五都三图的康保罗，民国时隶属东山县中兴镇的港西保。1950年建国后划为三区港西乡，1954年并入南湖乡。1958年改隶康美公社，设港西大队；1961年转属樟塘公社港西大队。1984年成为樟塘乡港西村，1993年改为樟塘镇港西村。[1]

人文[edit]

祖先开基时挖有一口“仙泉大井”，井深二十多米，井水从未干涸。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2025年10月，港西村入选「漳州市2025年度市级一村一品专业村（乡村旅游）」。[1]

县政府网站介绍，港西村为全县「7+3」党建示范村之一。[3]
