南山村是樟塘镇下辖的行政村，位于东山岛中心地带，现已与西埔城区连成一片。[1][2]

名称[edit]

关于村名，一说是村北有一座山坵称“南山头”，村庄因此得名；另一说取“福如东海，寿比南山”之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代村址属诏安县五都三图的康罗保，名南山村。民国时隶属东山县中兴镇南港保，当时南山与西港合为一保。建国后划入三区南湖乡，与下湖、岭下同属一乡。[1][2]

1951年转归樟塘公社的南湖乡；1959年改隶康美公社南湖大队；1961年自南湖独立出来，设樟塘公社的南山大队。1984年为樟塘乡南山村，1993年成为樟塘镇南山村。[1][2]

当代情况[edit]

随着县城东扩，村内大量土地被征用，村财收入主要依靠土地开发。东西一路从村前通过，东西二路贯通村后。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2025年11月，南山村入选「2025年漳州市农村建设品质提升工作成效突出村」。[1]
