历史沿革[edit]
村中古有一棵大樟树，每逢农历十五月圆，树影映入数百米外的池塘，村名由此而来。[1][3]
南宋末年，云农人张惟善来此定居，是村中张氏的始祖。[1][3]
清代此地属诏安县五都四图张塘保的张塘村。民国时期（1940年）分为樟东、樟西、樟中三保，归东山县统一实验乡。建国后曾为三区樟塘乡，1956年即为乡驻地。[1]
1959年划入康美公社，设樟塘大队；1961年转由樟塘人民公社管辖；1984年6月成为樟塘乡所属的樟塘村，1993年划归樟塘镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
这座山也称解山，海拔844米，山石形态各异，天然景点共十八处。明代学者黄道周与村人张延范曾在山上青云洞读书，黄道周为十八景一一命名，并称此山为漳州之最。[1][3]
荣誉[edit]
樟塘村在2021年2月上榜「福建省2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。同年11月，村子获评「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年12月，又被认定为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
2025年10月，樟塘村获「漳州市2025年度市级一村一品专业村」认定，主导产业为对虾。[1]
县政府网站说明，全县只有樟塘村获「漳州市乡村旅游示范点」称号。[2]
