樟塘镇是福建省漳州市东山县下辖的镇，位于东山岛中北部，与县城西埔接壤，北面和南面都临海。全镇辖9个行政村，另有2023年新成立的文昌社区，镇政府驻樟塘村。[2][3][4]
镇内北部有始建于南宋淳熙年间的南正院，旧时通往云霄的古港古渡也在北部；南部临海处为金銮湾旅游综合景区。1992年由乡改为镇，镇域面积据县政府2023年发布的材料为21.04平方千米。[2][5]
历史沿革[edit]
宋建隆元年（960年）东山境内设四个铺，樟塘名列其中；镇名则因镇政府所在的樟塘村而来。[1][6]
清代，今镇域分属诏安县五都的三图、四图和五图，四图称樟塘保。民国时期，镇域所在地先后隶属东山县的统一实验乡、中兴镇与复兴乡。[1][6]
1950年5月东山县解放，镇域划为三区的一部分，1958年归康美公社所辖。1961年4月，县里从西埔、康美两个公社划出一批生产大队，设立樟塘公社。[1][5]
1984年10月人民公社撤销后，此地为樟塘乡；1992年3月改设为镇，辖域不变。[3][5]
地理环境[edit]
镇域地处东山岛中北部，总面积21.04平方千米。据县政府2023年的镇概况，全镇有滩涂15000亩，耕地10216亩，山地6125亩。[2]
西铜大道、环岛路和疏港路从镇的中部穿过，战备路、砂矿路以及高速公路樟塘段也在境内。[2]
人口[edit]
2010年第六次全国人口普查时，镇常住人口为16016人。[3] 百度百科载2019年末户籍人口15867人，两者统计口径不同。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
南正院位于镇北，始建于南宋淳熙年间（1174年）。[2]
北部的古港古渡，是古代通往云霄县的必经渡口。[2]
羊角山又名解山，在镇中部，山上建有解山庙；博雅地名网载羊角山与解山庙同为县级文物保护单位。镇政府网站称羊角山一带建有生态旅游公园。[1][2]
南部金銮湾旅游综合景区内的战地文化园，是东山保卫战第一枪打响的地方。[2]
著名人物[edit]
博雅地名网列出与樟塘镇相关的人物，有明末学者、书画家、文学家黄道周（1585至1646年），林日瑞（1586至1643年），以及中国科学院院士蔡诗东（1938至1996年）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
樟塘镇于2020年12月获评「福建省卫生乡镇」，该称号由省爱卫办认定。[1]
2023年10月，镇进入福建省「全域生态旅游小镇」的2023年名单。[1]
