石埔村位于西埔镇西部，与国家级经济技术开发区相接，属城乡结合部。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村由埔上、石坛、圩仔三个自然村组成，取石坛的「石」字和埔上的「埔」字，合称石埔。1958年为石埔公社所在，1984年改设石埔村与村委会。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网，村占地6237.7亩，共720户、2887人。村内有联发机砖厂、诏东石场等企业，年村财收入约40万元。[2]

名胜[edit]

西山岩群峰耸立村中，始建于宋代的西山岩坪院位于其中，景区内还有明代城址断墙、漱玉泉、观日峰和望江岩等胜景。[3][2]

荣誉[edit]

民政部办公厅在2021年12月将石埔村确认为「全国村级议事协商创新实验试点单位」。[1]
