地名由来[edit]
村委会驻坪路自然村，村名由此而来。村域包括坪路和凤尾鞍两个自然村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村落依山傍溪而建，平面呈长方形。东面与赤田社区相邻，北面靠近太平镇的沈壁山山麓，南面接果老头山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1935年，村中曾设立苏维埃政府。[1]
民国时期此地属白洋乡，1950年属第五区的景路乡，1954年改属第七区的景路乡，1955年6月划入西潭区。1958年9月并入建设农场，设坪路大队；1984年10月改为现名。[1]
经济[edit]
村民主要种植蕉柑、水稻、甘蔗和地瓜，兼种凤梨、荔枝、李和茶叶。其中「建设坪路蕉柑」是乡里的特色农产品。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]
坪路陈氏宗祠（永福堂）建于明代，位于坪路村，2016年6月28日被公布为诏安县第十六批县级文物保护单位。[3]
坪路龙兴庙也建于明代，同在坪路村，并于同一天被公布为诏安县第十六批县级文物保护单位。[4]
