搭桥村位于八仙山下，北邻建设乡坪路村，南与下径村、汀洋村接壤。全村下辖搭桥、下坂楼、匏靴山、大坪四个自然村。[1]

村里以种植柑桔为主，红柑是主要支柱产业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年7月，搭桥村改属白洋乡。1984年10月政社分开后为西潭乡搭桥村，1964年4月起属西潭公社搭桥大队。1961年5月，它从建设农场析出，归西潭区白石公社。1958年5月撤区并乡后属白石乡，同年9月转入建设农场的搭桥作业区。1954年由西桥乡析出设坪塔乡，1956年6月改属西潭区坪塔乡。解放初属第二区西桥乡。[1]
