上蕴村位于白洋乡西部，南与广东省接壤。全村由上蕴、上五斗、下五斗、江厝楼四个自然村组成，村内有上蕴祥雲楼。[1]
地名[edit]
村子最初开村时以「祥云楼」为名，祥云与上蕴谐音，村名因此改称上蕴。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
上蕴祥雲楼建于明代，位于上蕴自然村，2016年6月28日列为县级文物保护单位（诏安县第十六批）。[2]

历史沿革[edit]
1993年7月，上蕴村改为白洋乡上蕴村，村名中的「愠」字改作「蕴」字。五斗大队自1964年4月起属西潭公社，到1980年才改称上蕴大队；政社分开后的1984年，此处属西潭乡上蕴村。1950年这里属第三区白玉乡，1952年起属第五区。[1]
