玉楼村位于白洋乡南部，村部驻六爷楼自然村，村名由此简称玉楼。全村由上茂营、下茂营、光山、下陂和大村六爷楼五个自然村组成。[1]

村里主要种植龙眼和荔枝，近年逐步推广大棚蔬菜，主要品种为青椒、苦瓜和黄瓜。村中还有一家石材加工厂。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年9月，玉楼村被认定为「漳州市2022年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，主打产品为大棚蔬菜。[1]

2022年10月，省农业农村厅认定玉楼村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年7月，玉楼村改属白洋乡。此前的1984年10月政社分开后，它属西潭乡玉楼村，1964年并入西潭公社。1961年体制下放时，这里是西潭区白石公社的玉楼大队；1958年9月起属建设农场玉楼作业区，1958年5月撤区并乡时曾归白石乡。1954年由白玉乡析出设玉茂乡，1955年6月归西潭区管辖。解放初为第二区白玉乡所辖。[1]
