白洋乡位于福建省漳州市诏安县西南部，地处闽粤交界，北连八仙山麓，南与深桥镇相接，西邻广东省饶平县。乡内汀洋、深湖两村是畲族聚居的村子，全乡共辖十五个行政村。[1][2][3][4]

乡境地势平坦，西溪由境内流过，省道诏平线经乡境西侧，厦深高铁也穿过全乡。农业以蔬菜、灰鹅养殖和八仙茶为主，境内还保存有宋至清代的土楼、庵堂和节孝坊等文物。[3][5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

地名由来：取境内两个最大的自然村白石与洋边（阳山）的首字命名。[2]

1950年这一带属第二区，1955年归西潭区管辖。1958年撤区并乡，改设白石乡，同年九月组建白石人民公社，划归建设农场管理。1961年自农场划出，改属西潭公社；1984年改设西潭乡；1993年从西潭乡析出，设置白洋乡。[2]

地理环境[edit]

乡境内西溪属东溪流域赤水溪的支流，赤田、洋淘坑两座小二型水库总库容约85.5万立方米。[3]

博雅地名网称，本乡以蔬菜、灰鹅、食用菌、八仙茶和樟柑为主要产业，蔬菜中以芥菜、青椒、毛豆和大葱等为多。[3]

该网站又称白洋乡为八仙茶的发源地，八仙茶园分布在汀洋、下径等村一带。[3][10]

2021年2月，白洋乡列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

白石庵建于明代，位于白石村，又称佛祖庵、鹤立亭、太史书院，2013年4月17日列为县级文物保护单位（诏安县第十四批）。[6][11]

汀洋土楼建于清代，位于汀洋村，2015年2月6日列为县级文物保护单位（诏安县第十五批）。[5]

白石节孝坊为清代建筑，位于白石村与上蕴山的交界处，与白石庵同为诏安县第十四批县级文物。[7]

塘西慈云院为宋代建筑，位于塘西村，2013年4月17日列为县级文物保护单位（诏安县第十四批）。[8]

汀洋迴澜亭为清代建筑，位于汀洋村，与汀洋土楼同为诏安县第十五批县级文物。[10]

上蕴祥雲楼建于明代，位于上蕴村上蕴自然村，2016年6月28日列为县级文物保护单位（诏安县第十六批）。[9]
