院前村位于诏安县金星乡，紧邻国道324线，与蟳寮村、邱城村接壤，离乡政府约3.5千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，院前与邱厝城一带合办邱前乡，归第一区管辖；1952年2月改归第三区。1954年，邱前乡分为邱寮、埔前两个乡，本村属埔前乡。1955年6月，埔前乡改归桥东区。1958年，它成为太阳升人民公社下的院前大队；1959年2月转入四都人民公社；1969年划入金星农场；1984年10月改用今名。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，村内有人口户358户，人口1456人，耕地690亩。海产养殖是村民的主要生产。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办把本村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年9月，本村被认定为漳州市2022年度市级「一村一品」专业村（芭乐）。2023年2月，「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单公布，院前村入选。2025年11月，本村被确定为「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」（芭乐）。[1]
