新安村是福建省漳州市诏安县西潭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府东部，距县城约5千米。村子地处丘陵，西侧临东溪，北面与美营村相邻。[1][2]

村子地处丘陵，西侧紧临东溪，南与青山村相接，北与美营村相邻。据概况页，村中有700多户，人口3000左右，编为12个村民小组。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初属第三区新安乡，之后划入第六区与西潭区。1958年撤区并乡后归美营乡，1959年转入红旗人民公社，1961年改属东湖公社新安大队，1964年起并入西潭人民公社，1984年政社分开，定名西潭乡新安村。[1]
