地名由来[edit]
1958年成立大队，取一处旧村名与角落名陈屋坑各一字为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年代初，此地陆续设立陈龙乡，先后隶属第六区、第九区、秀篆区和官陂区。[1]
1958年划入和平人民公社，设陈龙大队；1961年起改属秀篆公社。1984年起为秀篆乡陈龙村，1992年起为秀篆镇陈龙村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，陈龙村经省级部门认定，列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
文化[edit]
龙潭家庙位于本村，是王、游两姓共同祭祀祖先的宗祠。它的兴建时间定在明隆庆六年（1572年），出资并主持创建的是抗倭武将游瑞清。2013年，它被列为「福建省第八批省级文物保护单位」。[3]
